The house
A serene escape in the middle of a busy city.
OVIC opened in 2021 on Ihama Road, in the Government Reserved Area — the greenest, quietest corner of Benin City, and still only a few minutes from the airport, the Ring Road and the Oba’s Palace.
The building is run on family-inspired values by a team with more than twelve years in hospitality. What that looks like in practice: someone at the desk at three in the morning, breakfast that is actually cooked, and staff who remember which room you were in last time.

Discover Benin
You did not come all this way to stay indoors.
The Royal Palace of the Oba of Benin is a ten-minute drive. So are the National Museum on Ring Road, the bronze casters of Igun Street who have worked the same craft for six centuries, and the earthworks that once ringed the entire city.
